It’s running and running. We had another rehearsal session yesterday and it’s going very well: we finished another song and we really got into the flow. Wonderful! But we found out that there is a misunderstanding with the fifth person we don’t have yet. I thought, after our last rehearsal, that it’s clear that we are looking for another guitar player. But it was not, obviously! Actually, Alex, who plays the bass at the moment, would prefer to play the guitar and so we are more looking for a bass player. But we decided to postpone the search until we finished more songs and are really sure about what we are looking for…

I see light on the horizon! After life has played real hard on me for the last two months, I’m pretty confident that it’s getting better now. I had a real great meeting on Monday with a friend who offered me to help me with the homepage. He also gave me a link where one can find musicians. I’m going to register there and soon, my band will be complete

I’m really motivated right now. Let’s take this flow into the next months!

I think, close to the next Musicstar in Switzerland and to the next Superstar in Germany, it’s time to compare these two shows. Where can I start… good example? bad example?

I start with Switzerland. First: the band, that plays, is really the best – the top musicians from Switzerland. That’s all positive that there is to say. The rest of the show is a catastrophy! The presentation, the jury, the candidates – hardly ever heard something that bad. Even the mixing of the TV coverage is terrible. One really can’t bear that more than five minutes.

Compared to Switzerland, Germany is just wonderful! Great show, great jury, awsome candidates. The worst candidate from Germany is still ten times better than the best from Switzerland. And I can tell you even, why. They have Dieter Bohlen! Who ever wants to be successfull in Germany will not be able to get around him. Whatever he touches, becomes gold. So it’s always worth to go to a casting show where he sits in the jury – even if you don’t win. You have the contact then and who know, what will happen, if he likes you! Nothing compares to Dieter Bohlen!

I sometimes feel a little bit like Sisyphus – not that I push a rock to the top to find it later on at the bottom again. It’s more that my project is somehow the rock and I have to push it to the steep hill. Once there, it will roll down on its own, but at the moment, I still keep on pushing…
