huhu, I’m a bikechick!

You might have asked yourself, why this blog has not been updated for so long. It’s very simple: I was practising. No, not with music or singing this time, but with motorbiking. I was a little bit under pressure, as my learning license was going to expire soon and if you don’t have the exam before, you have to redo all the courses. So I sat on the motorbike every evening to get these turns in my head. and you wouldn’t belive it (even I don’t!): I passed! Yeeeeess! I’m a real motorbike chick now ;-)

shopping

Hu, I discovered internet-shopping! It’s very dangerous… :-) Have you ever heard of rockbands? I read of it somewhere in a magazine and I had to check it out. And there were so many beautiful wristbands. I just had to buy one ;-)

And do you know Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier? OMG! His collection is gorgeous! I love these paintings and especially the shirts with glitter stones on them. I could buy almost everything! :-)

The OMG-show! :-)

Let’s talk about the songs. From the concert, still :-) I know, it’s been a while now but I still live from that one evening – crazy.

Of course, she sang some songs from the new album “taking chances”, some classicals like “my heart will go on” as an encore, “I’m your angel”, together with her background singer, “the prayer” together with a video from Andrea Bocelli. She even sang some queen songs, one of my favourites: the show must go on! Great!

The stage was a square one with two wings stages on two sides. in each corner and in the middle, there was a lift and on two sides, there were two treadmills. In each corner, there was the band standing, also on a lift. All the lifts were more or less in constant move, so she had to take care where to put her feet :-)

The real peak of the show, in my opinion, was when she performed “all by myself”. It was the best thing I’ve ever heard, even better than on the records. I would never ever have the idea of singing this live but she did it as if it was the easiest song on earth. The audience thanked her with a standing ovation.

There is only one small thing that I didn’t like. I would have loved to see her sing “the reason” live on stage. But I can live with that ;-)
