more omg

I know, you’re longing to hear more about the fabulous concert I’ve been :-) Here we go!

After I met my friend, I went in and looked for my seat. Row 35, quite up high but with a sensational view on the huge stage in the middle of the stadion. It was a squarish stage with two side stages, nine lifts and two treadmills.

So I was sitting there waiting for the concert to begin. Eight o’clock passed, still waiting. Five minutes too late, the lift in the middle came up and Céine was there! OMG! The first three songs, I could hardly breathe. I was sitting there and what I felt is undescribable: so many years that I have been living with her music now, so many things that I know about her and suddendly, she’s there, alive, on stage. OMG! OMG! OMG, OMG, OMG! :-)

OMG!

As you may have known, I have been at the Céline Dion concert yesterday. Actually, it was not good. It was great, amazing, way beyond anything else I ever heard!!!

I have so much to tell you, I think, I’m going to write about it only the next 270 posts. Ok, maybe only the next 269… J

It already started when I arrived. I was so nervous, you can’t imagine. And then in front of the Hallenstadion, I met a friend from the radio and he told me a funny story. I have to go back to the past to let you know all the important things. Let’s go to 1988 then. Young Céline Dion performed at the Eurovision song contest for Switzerland with a song, that a Swiss singer-songwriter wrote for her: Nella Martinetti. Some of you may know that she won with that wonderful song, although the performance makes you laugh these days.

Twenty years later, Nella Martinetti is no longer the funny, cheerful person she once was – she’s depressed, gained 50 kilos of weight and has to stay in a clinic these days. But she’s still full of admiration for the now 40 years old Céline and would love to see her again – what Céline confirmed. But her management had another opinion and declined the meeting.

That’s not possible! was the first thought of some folks from the radio and managed to take her on a meet-and-greet they had drawn, together with the lucky guy who won it. And so, Nella finally met her long lost friend again! How touching!

That’s all for the moment – I don’t want you to break out in tears! ;-)

my heart is going boom!

I did it! No, not what you mean ;-) I did buy a ticket for the Céline Dion concert next week. I can’t tell you how much I payed for it – incredible. It took me quite a while to guess if I really should spend so much money on a concert. But I’m longing to see her on stage, live, since I was twelve so I absolutely have to go. I’m so excited! I think I’m going to die. She’ll be gorgeous, I know!

You just read the blog of the next superstar :-D

yeah! I’ve got an overflow of positive energy these times! I just wrote the next number one smash-hit! sure! :-D you see, I’ve got somehow a megalomania :-) I see myself filling the biggest stadiums :-D

more yeah! It’s sale in Zurich’s shops and this is daaaaangerous for my acount. I have just been to the city and I found a nice new party-outfit, golden hotpants, asian shirt in blue-green and a sexy jacket in white. Will look gorgeous :-) I just need to go partying now – you’ll see me ;-)

ready for retirement?

Am I getting old? I should be at the Greenfield Festival right now. But instead, I’m sitting at home. Ok, I’m sick as well, but even when I wasn’t, I thought about not going. Not in the mood for partying, not in the mood for camping, not in the mood for spending four rainy, cold days outside. The good thing now is that I have four days of time to work. As soon as I have more power and less fever, I will work on my songs again.

Today, I thought about having two guitars even in my band. Will the sound get more powerful then? Not sure yet, have to discuss that.

hahaha…

I assume you are burning to know how my meeting was! Haha. It was typically me! That doesn’t help you much, I know. To be honest: it didn’t take place. Why? Because I am to messy! No, no, I didn’t mess up the dates or the times, but I messed up numbers. Phone numbers, to be exact. I din’t make an appointment with my photographer but with someone who’s name is exactly the same. And I wondered why he changed his phone number! Stupid me :-) shame on me, gotta go and work on songs. bye for now.

good news!

Really good news. I try to keep it going on so I wrote my photographer a short message. And after a while, I was even lucky and he wrote me back. So we made an appointment for Friday. Not sure, what to expect from that but at least I know now pretty sure what pictures I want to have and I can tell him my ideas.

And further, I’m very motivated to write songs at the moment. I had a really good flow yesterday at the piano. The good thing about positive feelings while writing songs is that it motivates me to go on, to work harder, to write more. So I think, I’m gonna be quite productive these days :-)

day three

Day three in London was more or less shopping day. First, some sightseeing in Notting Hill and then to Harrods to get some chocolate for my friends at the office. And after, I wanted to check the Miss Sixty store near Knightsbride station. I could have bought everything ;-) I decided not to. But I bought a nice green dress in a store around the corner – forgot the name.

But the real highlight of the day was the flight back. As the pilot announced his crew, I thought that I knew one of the names, so I told the flight attendant to say hello to the pilot. Two minutes later, my friend appeared! And my friend thought that there are too many people in Economy and without further ado, I was sitting in Business, eating a very nice dinner. :-)

So all in all a very goo trip. Gotta do that soon again :-)
