There’s something going on in Swiss Music Bizz – a new star has born, some would say! So, the bad news first: it’s not me. 
She’s called Börni and she will launch her new album on 4 April and just released her first single “scream my name”, including video. She is known by the Swiss public as one of the candidates of the latest Music-Star episode. Of course, she did not win but it’s all the same better not to win as most of the winners have disappeared and actually, there are only two candidates (both not winners!) who are successfull: Baschi and Kandlbauer.
So, the new Swiss rock chick is Börni. Or they try to make one out of her. Actually, I have to admit that I like the video somehow – nice dresses! And the song is very nicely produced although the lyrics could be better (I still can’t find any sense in it…). I like the part between the chorus and the verse – somehow a little bit hiphoppy, I like that mix… But it rocks. Only doubt I have: is this really her? She doesn’t seem authentic to me, somehow more like a puppet that just does what her producer and the management wants from her. We all know, where this can lead (ask Britney)…
Börni, I recommend that you go and buy some warmer clothes, as soon, there will be Leila Licks and we will see who of us two will rock the stage (ok, it’s not a fair battle, as she has a record label that helps her and I’m all alone – but I can decide on my own, what I want and what not and all you’ll get from me will be a hundert percentage me! Let the audience vote!) Go for competition! It will be a lot of fun! And yeah, baby, you’re gonna scream my name
